Privacy policy

This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.

Who is responsible

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is SERVAZ UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Leipziger Straße 72, 08056 Zwickau, Germany, email: info@servaz.de.

Hosting

This website runs on a server of 1blu GmbH in a data centre in Germany. It does not set cookies and does not load content from other providers.

Server logs

When you open a page, our web server writes an entry to a log: your IP address, the date and time, the address you opened, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the page you came from (if your browser reports it) and the identifier of your browser.

We need these entries to run the website, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure operation of the website. The logs are deleted after 14 days.

Contact form and email

When you write to us using the form, we process your email address, your message and, if you provide it, your name. We need the email address to be able to reply to you. The form cannot be sent without an email address and a message.

The website does not store your details. It immediately sends them as an email via the mail servers of OVH to our address info@servaz.de; our mailboxes are also hosted by OVH. If you email us directly, your message takes the same route.

We use your details only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering enquiries. We delete the message as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with, unless a statutory retention obligation requires otherwise.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). To do so, write to us at info@servaz.de.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for our registered office is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte).

Your right to object

Where we rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR). To do so, write to us at info@servaz.de.
